Award Categories
HBOT 2008 is providing an opportunity to recognize those individuals, groups of people or organizations who have demonstrated contributions and accomplishments above and beyond expectations. The 7 categories are:
- Most innovative use of Hyperbaric Oxygenation
- Hyperbaric Doctor of the Year
- Hyperbaric Center of the Year
- Hyperbaric Technician of the Year
- Hyperbaric Caregiver of the Year
- Wound Care Center - NEW CATEGORY
- Special Children's Award
- Nominations can be for one person, a group of people or an entire Center, as is the third category.
- Include activities, accomplishments and contributions, which demonstrate the criteria in the award description and explain the results and impact of the nominee's efforts.
- The "Special Children's Award category represents a young patient who has demonstrated enormous bravery and has influenced and impacted the lives of others.
- If possible, include nominee's bio and/or any other supporting documents such as letters of recommendation, articles and any other commendations or recognition they have received.
- The judging panel will be a voluntary group made up of leading visionaries in the field of HBOT. Their experience will include but not be limited to the running of hyperbaric centers, patient consultancy, treatment and care, technology research and development.
